This is the greatest books app ive ever used
Wanted this app to really work... Disappointed at lack of selection, unstable app. Stopped my subscription.
Just wish you did not have to pay for a membership
Im pretty new to Scribd and came in right when the book limit started. I read on average 6-8 books a month so Scribd isnt a stand alone service for me. But I still love the feel of a real book in my hands and giving Barnes and Noble tons of money (ha), so it works for me. I actually had a disappointing moment in B&N - I wanted to buy a book but wouldnt if it was available on Scribd. It actually took a while to find a book to buy this way. I was pleasantly surprised. However - I find their selection of kids books horrible. I tried a few that had serious spelling and grammatical errors. Not cool when my child is still learning how to read. Id love a service that gave us access to great childrens books.
Really helpful!
The app is cool.
Lots of available titles. The sheet music selection alone is worth the price.
It is really convenient for me since I can read anywhere with anytime I want, and it also helps me save a lot of money because most of books are free download. I love it.
Scribd is absolutely phenomenal. Wide range of books and it is arranged in order to be read comfortable. Theres the option of audible books. Amazing!
Love this app, came across it and decided to email them and ask a few question. then after a second email with more questions, I was intrigued. Customer service was prompt and courteous. I was impressed, so i decided to give it a try. I have found my hangout, with my favorite genres, authors and coffee too boot.
Theyre spiritual library is massive! I have no complaints what so ever.
With audiobooks, the app randomly skips chapters. If you aren’t staring at the screen, you don’t realize what has happened until the book starts talking about things you didn’t know had happened. It is the worst of both worlds—you don’t know what is happening and yet you hear spoilers.
Thats just perfect
Ive been very satisfied with Scribd. Ive only come across a few titles that the database hasnt had. But overall Scribd is my go-to for all my reading and theyve kept me as a loyal customer since first download.
I love being able to get books and audiobooks and only pay once a month. Its so much cheaper than paying $20+ for a book on audible.
Worth every penny
Loving every second of the books im reading! Worth it!
I love the app for the most part. This is the only app I have had trouble with. I have had to delete and download Twice. But it works most of the time and has a great assortment of books and audits.
My family and I love this app. A mom of three, like the classics, read by the author is an added bonus. One of best is the audiobook feature so we can listen alone or together, anytime. We use Scribd on an iPhone 5. Great novels, kid books I remember I share now w my boys. Great app for in easing exposure to new material too. Appreciate the sound quality as well. Last summer we listened to all the Theodore Boone:Kid Detective books. Good pictures sometimes, and even the no -audio found some research articles on human behavior for work.
