Scribd - audiobooks & ebooks App Reviews

was a regular user of Scribd in my car for about 8 months. however, lack of carplay functionality, led me to change apps for audiobooks. i prefer Scribd to other audio book apps in general, but carplay functionality has led me to another app / audio book provider.

This app…its weird and buggy, it took me an hour to figure out how to cancel premium membership, and a bunch of things in the app (including the FAQ) dont work when you click on them. Sorry, BYE. Thumbs down.

I hope to try Scribd as a digital librarian and the audio book readers are just as cool as Siri!

Great app on mobile devices. Lots of free content like sheet music. Hard to navigate books on a computer.

Had to download the app and sign up to read an article and still couldnt read it useless

I like it. I like how it gives me an opportunity to listen to books I may be interested in using my monthly token for a copy of a selected book. I just go to my gym, press play and enjoy. I get lost in the books and forget about the monotony of stationary cardio equipment. ????????

The filters "finished" and "reading" are still missing. You have made it impossible for users to get a good overview of which books they have already finished since that big update in one of the previous releases. This is creating a very negative user experience and needs to be fixed asap.

Scribd gives you such freedom to preview books, download documents and read them wherever you are! I never imagined it would be so great but decided to give it a go and I havent looked back since.

I never write reviews because its a waste of my time. But this app has to be one of the worst Ive seen. Before I got it there was a certain series I wanted. I looked it it, they said they had it so I got the app. Not only did they make me pay for the month I tried using it THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE THE BOOKS I WANTED. they lied and tricked me into getting this cursed app. To top it off I can unsubscribe until the month is over. Cant deactivate my account until my subscription is gone. Im stuck.

App regularly freezes or lags, both in menus and when Im reading. It really interrupts the pace and flow of reading. Due to this I will likely be switching to kindle unlimited at the end of this month.

I really love this app, is working good on my IPhone and table, is a tittle be expensive, but I enjoy.

There are better apps.

You get one month and only 3 items free, then have to pay. Theres a menu bar across the screen that makes it impossible to read a number of lines (cant scroll the page out from under the bar or remove the bar). If theres another way to read what you want, use it!

This is so much better than Audible for audio books.

Ok apps are apps, some wonderful some useless. I am an app user for all kinds of things: medical tech, reading, hiking gps, cooking, meditation, road maps, utilities, schedules, learning languages, many things. I have never written a review before. THIS IS THE WORST APP I HAVE EVER HAD. And besides that it is impossible to unsubscribe. Yes, I have been contacting customer service and what they tell me to do does not work. So not only are there minimal books available and those are difficult to access, now months go by and I keep getting charged.

I am so glad I found this app.
