Scribd - audiobooks & ebooks App Reviews

When from being able to store on device for free to now you have to have a subscription. Lousy upgrade.

Although there are several ways to read books in electronic format but Scribd is unique that here you actually can read books from all cultures and languages and people scan and share the books.

Ive been a long time subscriber and have rolled with them throughout the pricing and service changes and will continue but I sure wish this app would get better. It is so slow in loading even downloaded material and often crashes on my iPad and iPhone. 5 stars for the service but 1 star for the app so they get a 2 1/2 star rating.

I just love this app. I tend to go through a lot of books so this app is great for me. I finish one and can immediately start another. I always find plenty of great books to read. The best part is that I can read on any of my devices and it always knows where I left off!

I recently started a journey (a few months ago now) to change my mindset and to develop a more POSiTiVE way of thinking. I was mentally weak, but wise enough to know that Im only as good at what Im trying to accomplish, as the knowledge I about it & you have "study" to show yourself im-proved. So, I started with a book from Zig Ziggler & continued, immediately into Steve Harveys Act Like A Success, Think Like A Success. I followed up with Steves JUMP, not even a week later. Im a music lover..I need it to get out of bed & to get through the day, but this week I challenged myself to get up to an audiobook and listen throughout my day. Well, thats why I loveee SCRIBD. It allows me the physical read, for when I have personal time to sit and hold a physical object, which just so happens to be the most convenient device thats always at my fingertips, my phone and also the audio read for times when Im driving or working! Its the best thing. I hate monthly, reoccurring expenses, but this one was a CHOICE b/c with each read Im investing into my future! Im bettering myself. Im improving my mindset and strengthening my positive thinking. Its truly a blessing to me, daily!

I thought this app was a great idea at first. After the first month, I knew I was wrong. The book selection isnt great and its very slow. Ive spent a month trying to resolve the situation and have been ignored. Im fed up and do NOT recommend this app!!! Awful customer service unless you liked to be billed then ignored after you cancelled your service but they continue to deduct. Stay away!

Lets you read books that youd otherwise have to buy on your own! Great investment for those who set out to read more often ??

I love anything that has to do with personal growth and peak performance. And the fact that you have all these resources on this subject literally at the fingertips, that is just fantastic

Painless document-finding, downloading, and reading is awesome. I stumbled across this on the internet and have enjoyed using it to share book recommendations with friends as well as read on my own.

One of the worst "reading" apps Ive ever had to experience for Christs sake you get three books a month and they cant even load them properly do not waste your money

It sure beats audible. This service is reasonable in price, practical, and awesome.

Its a great app for book lovers. Wish they offered unlimited books though!

Had to get this app to read something online that wouldnt allow me full access of the story unless downloaded. Scam. Got the app open the doc and it kept crashing. Dont waste your time. Move on.

Signed up for online reading and have not regretted my decision at all. Once I started using the audio book portion it was even better. Highly recommend it to book lovers everywhere.
