I love this app and the great variety of books, the only reason I give a 4 instead of 5 stars is because many times the app restarts itself or something happens that it brings me back to the beginning and if i dont mark the page i waste a lot of time finding where I was at.

Its a good service, I only hope they increase the library

Scribd stole my money. Then they lied. I did not find any place to discontinue the app. So I have errased the app in my IPAD. And iVe hidden it from the list of my apps. I HOPE THIS IS ENOUGH FOR THEM TO STOP CHARGING. AND IT WOULD BE GREAT IF THEY RETURNED MY TEN BUCKS. What ticket number? Quote your ticket number. Have no ticket number. Where do i get one, and how. If you follow the current everything is fine if you do not, well hell lets lose. Stop CHARGING. NO MORE CHARGES

Great way to read books on my phone when Im on the go.

I love this app. Have for years. Great content. Download feature is pivotal. However, I wish that your subscription gave u more access to free content like TuneIn.

If you enjoy reading or drive a lot and love audio books like myself. You will enjoy this App! I think Scribd has a great selection of both audio and readable books. The small monthly contribution is worth it.

Would be nice to be able to keep the books we have actually purchased separately from using credits.

Decent app but with the latest build, the time/top iOS bar is always showing right over the top of the app. Turn the app into dark mode? No time displayed at all, its still in black sitting right over the top of the app. The team seems to release fixes often, but they must have missed this one in the last two releases. Books occasionally end up jumbled when going from portrait to landscape, but exiting out and reloading the book, while annoying, seems to fix it. Pretty good app, but some of the bugs make you wonder how they got past anyones QA cycle.

Have had a Scribd subscription for almost 4 years. Have suffered through mindless and infuriating updates that leave me searching for what I had grown comfortable with..... have gone through losing the benefits that were originally offered. Have adjusted to the limitations. I keep paying monthly because I would lose access to the books Ive collected...even if you paid outright for a book and not just used a credit, even those books are not yours to keep. Now another insult with this update, just where are the Scribd Selects now? There was a list now nothing I just see a few random choices scattered about with no order. Im tired of Scribd now.

Great model, great value, great way to get yourself reading more. You can store credits if you dont get to all the books you plan to in a month, and once youve used a credit, the book stays on your "shelf" to revisit whenever you like (so you dont have to finish it the same month if you get busy). If youre serious about wanting to read more, this app makes it easy, affordable, and accessible. Do it!

I am an educator and having access to these great resources has really helped my research.
