App On iPad Air Impossible To Use - Freezing Me Out

Im an ebook reader with an iPad Air dedicated to reading. I began a subscription to Scribd 4 months ago.

While I like their selections & concept, I do wish we could swap audio books for ebooks as I never use them.

2 months ago, the app started freezing, making it nearly impossible to use. After doing the basic troubleshooting without results and writing support, I was able to access the app from my phone and PC to make selections.

This past week, after they updated the app and posted theyd solved the freezing problem, it now chokes and freezes to the point of unusability. I am canceling my subscription and deleting from my iPad.
